I’m moroccan and I’ve usually been to a moroccan wedding. Everyone gets dressed up .Female guests wear all sorts of beautiful caftans and takchitas (Moroccan dresses) of various colors, textures, shapes. The male guests usually wear suits, and the wedding staff also wear kaftans and suits.The traditional Moroccan Wedding is rich in details and meaningful processes. The bride gets to dress in several outfits and the food as well as the music varies between traditional and modern. The Moroccan marriage consists of a nuptial ceremony.
I v bien in a lot of moroccan wedding. People Wear fancy or traditionnel clothes WE listen to songs .they five us good sometime it not delicious and some Time you Can bé bored and fall asleep

People often wear traditional clothes or fancy clothes. In Moroccan weddings, we listen to music and to traditional songs. We can also eat sometimes and at the end of the wedding the husband and the wife cut the wedding cake.

Hi Jessica ! Well, I went to lots of weddings. For women, we usually wear morrocan’s traditional clothing: caftan, and for men, the wear smoking. Before the wedding start, we enter the wedding place, then we meet the other family, or we juste eat and talk, some of the child can sleep too ! Then the music start and the couple enter, we all applause. The bride has usually 3 clothing, but she always let the white dress at the end! After a while, the couple get up and start dancing, and the family member get up too! After that, they bring the big white cake. And at the end, the couple get into a car and go to the hotel, and everyone go to their home, but it’s always almost 3 or 4 am!
In Morocco, in ceremony, the women’s like wearing and dressed a kaftan or takchita with high heels or short heels, for men dressed Jellaba The groom comes with his family and everyone waits for the bride to come. The brides is very important in the Moroccan. She is usually placed in an amaria an elegant roofed platform that’s carried by 4 or 6 guys and they usually come with the neggafa.
I had been to a Moroccan wedding; it was my cousin’s wedding. We were all wearing traditional clothes like kftans and tkchita. The mood was really great; my uncles and aunts were dancing, and the songs were good. The food was really good; we had pastilla, one of my favorite traditional meals. I really enjoyed the wedding.
Hi Jessica! As a morrocan girl, I can answer your questions! First, I went to my uncle’s wedding last year. It was wonderful. It was also the first wedding that I went to, so I don’t if all the weddings are made the same way. Well first, you need to know that morrocan weddings are very long. It can take the whole night or even 7 days! Funny thing: I slept during the wedding! It was funny because everyone laughed. Anyway, the bride was gorgeous. She was changing her wedding dress every time l, that’s why it took so long. My uncle changed his clothes too, but I preferred my aunt’s dresses, and their names are Kaftans. The couple’s clothes were matching each other. Pike if the bride wore a Fes clothes, her husband wore the same thing. In these weddings, we dance a lot, and there is a lot of noise. All the family is there, so no one was alone. Everyone is happy. You know, it’s not only the couple that wears a Kaftan, even the guests are wearing these. Jessica!! For me I went to a wedding we I have 7 years old I didn’t remember a lot, but I think Guests attending a Moroccan wedding usually dress in traditional attire. At a wedding party, you enter the hall, there is a singer singing popular songs, and there are some guests singing and dancing, and we see the two grooms sitting in their places, and the waiter offers us delicious food

I had been to my cousin’s wedding in Fes . in weddings we wear kaftan or takchita. they play traditional moroccan songs and we all are dancing on it, but i don’t like it .the food is really good, there is pastilla, tajine an other…the groom and the bride ther are usually placed on the amaria carried by 6guys, i think. the wedding is usually finished at 3or4 am, me i sleep before that’s finished because that’s to long for me.
The first time I went to a wedding I saw a lot of people wearing dresses and colourful clothes and listened to a traditional music and I ate a lot of delicious sweets and it was wonderful and the married gave a kisse to each other

First of all, women and men are separated in two halls.
We have to wear traditional clothes like caftans, djellaba…and you also have to give presents or some money to the bride. After, the most important thing is food, they serve different dishes and drinks for guests.
Then, children, men and women have fun dancing the traditional dance.

In a weeding,the womens wear a beautiful kaftan or takchita (traditionnal moroccan clothes) it s often colorful and it mades her unique and pretty. The mens put suits or jalaba(it depends) they look elegant and handsome.The festivities take place in a very big party room ,and continue very late into the night we dance and we sing with the traditional and famous songs.After that,we take dinner very late,and we eat some traditionnal cake and chicken and we drink tea and some soda.At the end,the groom give to the bride a golden ring.

I have been In Moroccan wedding.it was my uncle wedding. The ceremony remains closely linked to the ancestral traditions and customs of the Moroccan country. And it units the families of the the married ones. The course of the wedding ceremony is practically identical in all Moroccan cities, but the rites vary from one region to another. Clothing, songs, dances, and dishes differ with distinctive signs according to the custom and culture of the region. It is common in Morocco for a married woman to keep her maiden name. The people wears traditional clothes: women wear takchita and men wear djelaba or suits.

The Moroccan wedding is a very big party!. Many persons including a family member, friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate the ceremony.
Everybody dance different kind of music and enjoy the food and sweets, wearing a traditional dress like catfatns and jellabas.
The bride change outfit five to seven time and every outfit represents a moroccan city ‘ s culture.
The party is during all night until sunrise. And both families invite each other many days after the ceremony.

Hi Jessica, it was a while since i last talked to you ,Moroccan weddings differ from region to region , over here at Casablanca , weddings are mostly meant to increase bond between families and friend , and the food is delicious , even thought i hate fish , bastilla is still my favourite food when it comes to more expensive food . Womens usaully wear some caftan , handcraftzd if it is the bride’s caftan , djalaba and formal attires like suits , a shirt and a tie etccc…

Yes have been to a lots of family or friends weedings and it’s amazing. The food, the music and all of it is incredible. In weeding ceremony we usually wear traditionnal dress. For the girls they were kaftans and the boys just wear suits. In it the bride wear a lot dresses and receive gifts, they also drink milk with dates.
The wedding celebrated in a big decorated and lovely place. After exchanging greeting and congratulations with couple’s parents the envented sit around a table. The guests were divided by gender. Women were wearing beautiful caftans and Takchitas. As for men, they were wearing Djelabbas or modern suits.
After that, the groom and the bride were coming. All guests were excited to welcome them. The groom was wearing a beautiful Djelabba and the bride her beautiful caftan and heavy jewelry.

For answering your questions, yes I’ve been in my aunt’s wedding, and that was amazing evry where I saw I found evry one there with a special traditional wearing like Caftans and Takchitas for girls and women, and for boys and men Jellabas and Jabadours with, for both of they a very vive colours that was wonderful. The couple was categorised with a very special wearing more than the other ones had,they sat in the back of the room front of everyone. The wedding was animé Ted with a lot of traditional music sushi as the Chaabi music. A loved the Bastila and Roasted Chicken that we all ate there that was a delicious and tasty food. At usual I alwayslove the funny Amartya where the couple sit.

For me I went to many weddings in morroco , they wear some caftan and jlaba for women and caustumes for mens , in the wedding they play some charbi music and eat some deleaches food like djaj and bastila . Then they pout the bridesmaid in a think that names ramaria and her husban gave her a ring . Thats it . You injoyed the wedding Jessica .
